Dr. Filip Beránek is an IBSA and IBTA international classifier with extensive experience in blind sports, including blind tennis. He was appointed Head of Classification within IBSA and has served as Chief Classifier at the 2023 and 2026 IBTA World Championships, as well as at the 2024 IBTA European Championships. Dr Beránek is an ophthalmologist based in Prague, where he works at the Centrum zrakových vad (Visual Defects Centre), affiliated with Motol University Hospital.
