Players of Italian nationality may upload their FISPIC certification to register. There is no international onsite classification at this tournament.
Non-classified players are required to submit a medical diagnostics form (MDF), which must be completed by a registered ophthalmologist or optometrist. Please follow the steps below:

All initial MDFs must be received by IBTA for evaluation by the 30 of September 2025.

Virtus Centenary Tournament (FAQ)

Categories B2 – B3 – B4:

  • Arrival: November 5, 2025
  • Start of competitions: November 6, 2025, from 2:30 PM
  • End of competition: by 2:00 PM on November 9, 2025
  • Departure: afternoon of November 9, 2025

Category B1:

  • Arrival: November 6, 2025
  • Start of competitions: November 7, 2025, from 2:30 PM
  • End of competitions: by 2:00 PM on November 9, 2025
  • Departure: afternoon of November 9, 2025
The rates refer to the price per room, per night and include breakfast, but do not account for the city tax, which will have to be paid onsite.
  • Standard Single room (DUS): €70.00
  • Standard Double/Double bed room: €90.00
  • Triple room: €110.00

The tournament participation fee is €10 per athlete.

There is no onsite classification at this event. International or provisional class certified by IBTA for each athlete and national class by home country will be recognized.
A singles tournament will be held for all categories, featuring a round robin followed by a single-elimination draw.

Hotel Amadeus is a 4-star hotel located near the tennis club.

Transportation from the train station/airport to the partner hotel will be provided by the organizers, as long as travel plans are communicated within the indicated timeframe.

Transportation between the partner hotel and the competition venues will also be provided.

Meal agreements will be in place at the competition venues.

For Category B1:
Lunch agreement with “Bar Record CUSB”: €10
(includes a sandwich or piadina or mixed salad, water, and coffee)

For Categories B2 – B3 – B4:
Lunch agreement with Virtus Tennis Club Restaurant: €15
(includes a first or second course, side dish, water, and coffee)

For dinner (all categories):
Agreement with Virtus Tennis Club Restaurant: €25
(includes a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee)

Note: Meals must be paid on-site by athletes and any accompanying persons.

Category B1:
Matches will be held at Record Sports Center – University Sports Center, Via del Pilastro 8, Bologna.
Three indoor courts with parquet flooring will be available.

Categories B2 – B3 – B4:
Matches will be held at Virtus Tennis Bologna, Via Galimberti 1, Bologna.
Three courts will be available, located in air-supported structures with Play-It flooring.
