IBTA World Championships Lithuania 2026 Registration

In partnership with Blind Sport Lithuania (Blind Sport LT), the IBTA is pleased to announce that registration for the 2026 IBTA World Blind Tennis Championships is now open. The event will take place from 23-29 August 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The registration deadline is 25 May 2026.

IBTA World Championships Lithuania 2026 Registration

23-29 August 2026

Registration for the World Championships is officially closed. However, if you still wish to participate, you may complete the registration form and you will be placed on the waiting list.

All players currently on the waiting list will receive an official response from the Local Organising Committee (LOC) regarding their participation status by 30 June. If you have any questions, please contact the LOC via the official email address: worldchampionships2026lithuania@blindsport.lt

All participants—including players, coaches, carers, officials, and country representatives—are invited to complete the entry registration form below. A separate IBTA capitation fee of EUR 25 applies to players only.  Payment instructions are on the FAQ page. N.B. Doubles will be confirmed prior to the tournament based on registration. Priority will be given to teams comprising players from the same classification category.
N.B. Special dietary meals are available only for participants who select the full catering options (A and E below). The organisers cannot accommodate dietary requests for entry fee options B or D below.
N.B. For single rooms, there is an additional EUR 40 per night. Based on first come, first served basis due to limited availability. This is subject to confirmation by the Organisers. Payment instructions are on the FAQ page under section 2. A separate IBTA capitation fee of EUR 25 applies to players only. Coaches, accompanying persons and other participants may organise their accommodation and meals independently, regardless of the option selected by the player. If they wish to stay at the official Championships hotel, options D and E are available per the above.
Non-classified players and players due for a review in August 2026 are required to submit a Medical Diagnostics Form (MDF), which must be completed by a registered ophthalmologist or optometrist. Please follow the steps below:
1. If you need a blank MDF, you can download a copy here
2.Once you have completed your MDF form, please make sure to email it to: mdf@internationalblindtennis.org with 'Lithuania 2026 MDF' in the subject line.
